Chemistry I and II 

All Chemistry I and II concepts are reviewed, as per students' needs, including but not limited to the following:

  • Stoichiometry and dimensional analysis using moles, Avogadro's number, molarity, molality, normality, etc.
  • Atomic properties and Nuclear Chemistry concepts including quantum numbers, Aufbau Principle, orbital energies, radioactive decay, angular momentum, etc.
  • Molecular geometry and bond types, e.g., trigonal pyramidal, octahedral, tetrahedral, polar covalent, ionic, etc. 
  • Chemical bonding, reactivity, and naming chemical compounds.
  • Periodic table trends, their application to real-world Chemistry, and the ways they're interrelated.
  • Thermodynamic concepts including Gibb's free energy, enthalpy, specific heat, entropy, etc.
  • Reaction types including acid/base, combustion, single and double replacement, decomposition, etc.
  • Solution formation concepts including Henry's Law, Le Chatelier's Principle, solubility, equilibrium constants, ICE tables, etc.
  • Ideal gases and the laws that describe them, e.g., Charles' Law, Boyle's Law, the Ideal Gas Law.

Biology I and II

All Biology I and II concepts are reviewed, as per students' needs, including but not limited to the following:

  • Plant and Animal Cells & Organelles
  • Cell life cycle
  • Transcription & Translation
  • Mendelian Genetics
  • Developing lab reports
  • Themes that unify life
  • Classifying organisms
  • Evolution & Darwinism
  • Ecology
  • Anatomy/Physiology
Rates: 

• $35/hr for one student with no prior commitment.

• $30/hr when payment is made in advance for three or more sessions.

• $20/hr per student when groups of two or more students are seen at once.
